Our guest presenters:
Join Peta from Moondani Wraps, and Cherie from Woven Wraps Australia, for this very special day.
Come pregnant with a practise toy/baby, or as a mum with your real life baby! (We do ask that older toddlers/kids stay at home with other family to allow you to completely immerse yourself in the day).
Peta Wilson: “Hi, I’m a physiotherapist locally and I’m also a mum of three beautiful babies of 9, 5 and 1 years old. I started to wear my babies daily in various types of carriers and decided to customise and design my own carriers as I realized that one size does not fit all! This turned into my own business called Moondani.
I design fabrics and I make them into ergonomic, physio, myself-approved carriers so that they’re comfortable and they’re fitting well and also look beautiful. My Link Tree is https://linktr.ee/Moondani and my website is www.moondani.com.au”
Cherie: “Hi, I am Cherie, mum of two boys and two girls. My babywearing experience started with my first boy nearly 9 years ago. I was determined to carry him in the early days, even purchasing a pram that was better suited to a toddler because I knew I was going to carry him until then. From there I learned more, became more confident in babywearing and other parenting choices and my passion grew. Each of my babies have been ‘worn’ on holidays, while cooking dinner, school runs, shopping trips, out and about, at home, sleepy walks… you name it!
Now my passion is to share what I have learned through my experience with other parents, to empower and support and provide quality babywearing products from my store: www.wovenwraps.com.au”
Our two wrapping “mum-perts” (mum experts)… are gifting their passion and time for this very special celebration of the joy of wrapping and baby carrying!
Your ten dollar donation supports the Newcastle Birth Movement Community Group and it’s ongoing running costs!
